These facilities are adjacent and boast the same professional staff and office, so stop by at 10120 Durant Road today for a tour of one or both of our self storage facilities. We are proud to serve the surrounding communities of Northeast Raleigh, North Raleigh, Wake Forest, Rolesville, and Knightdale. We’re just blocks from Highway 1 and I-540 and easy to find – we’re right across the street from Durant Road Elementary School!
About A-1 Durant II
Nobody can beat our flexibility. We have outdoor parking spaces for boats, RVs, and other vehicles. Our access hours mean you don’t have to take time out of your busy schedule to fit in a trip to your storage unit, and drive-up access ensures a smooth unload on move-in day.
Our office hours are from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, so stop by at a time that’s convenient for you. Our friendly self storage professionals are ready to help you!
Our facilities are gated and monitored by 24-hour security cameras for your safety and the safety of your belongings. We also sell boxes and other moving supplies right here on location. Our two story building offers the convenience of an elevator and stairs. Our elevator use is during the hours of 6:00 A.M. and 10:00 P.M. seven days per week. The elevator can be used for moving things into your unit, moving things out of your unit and daily visits to the facility.
Directions
From Wakefield:
- Take Old Falls of Neuse Rd and follow for 1.7 miles
- Turn right onto Falls of Neuse Rd and follow for 2.4 miles
- Turn left onto Durant Rd
- After one mile, A-1 Personal Storage will be on your left.
From 540 (Bedford):
- Falls of Neuse
- Turn right onto Durant Rd
- After one mile, A-1 Personal Storage will be on your left
From WRAL Soccer Complex:
- Head west toward Perry Creek Rd
- Take Perry Creek Rd (Perry Creek turns into Durant Rd after crossing Capital Blvd)
- Continue onto Durant Rd
- After 1.5 miles, A-1 Personal Storage will be on your right

Unique and clean facility. The office boasts antiques (for sale!) and a staff that is friendly and helpful. Brian was my contact and he was everything you hope to encounter when you need assistance. He welcomed me and made me feel like my needs were his priority. He asked questions to make sure I got the right sized space and got me signed up quickly. The prices were much better than all the other ones I visited. I highly recommend this storage facility.
